Huge Named Großdeutschland Portrait!

This is a massive portrait and very very rare to find these days!

The portrait comes mounted on its original card backing dated 1943 in Cottbus.

The portrait measures a impressive 48.5cm x 38cm and with the backing measures 62.8cm x 49cm!

The image which is crystal clear shows a young soldier obviously during training Großdeutschland’s Cottbus Barracks.

He wears a type 3 cufftitle in sutterlin script which you can clearly see!

Attached to the back is a letter to the soldiers family dated 4th of December 1943 notifying them of Schutzen Walter Guss’s death and sending them his wehrpass as a memento of his service.
