Panzer Officers White Drillich blouse.

Super and not often seen example of a panzer officers white drillich blouse

The blouse is a 4 pocket, 6 button front with double hook closure at the neck and has barrel cuffs and fully removeable insignia.

The jacket which came with a super and fully matched pair of pink piped summer uniform issue shoulder straps for a oberleutnant in panzer regiment 6 (operated panthers)

The jacket also came with its summer issue metal breast eagle, the blouse comes with a period hand sewn Ek2 ribbon at the 2nd button hole & loops for 2 awards, also with loops above the left pocket for a small medal bar or single medal, it has loops attached for fitting the breast eagle above the right breast pocket.

all buttons are removeable and held in place with split rings.

The collar tabs are removeable being attached by press button fittings.

When we received the blouse it was missing its original press button fittings for the collar tabs. Clear traces of where they were remained so we sent this to a restoration company to have restored with period originals.

The jacket is in a overall superb condition without any damage whatsoever. Of not there is clear traces remaining to the left sleeve above the cuff of a cuff title once being worn.

Superb and not often found uniform that displays very well indeed!

Please note: cap and medals are not part of the sale.

Here are a set of owner identified and DKIG awarded mans Kriegsmarine/Panzer leather trousers with suspenders which we obtained as part of a grouping that consisted of black wrapper and leather trousers with suspenders directly from the family estate in Germany! It has never been in a collection before and this is the first time it has been offered to the public!

It comes from a Aristocratic German family.

Panzer Aufklarungs Kriegsmarine/Panzer trousers to German Cross in Gold winner Leutnant Richard von Mackensen.

Born October 1, 1920 in Neustettin. He died June 28, 2012 in Jevensted.

Company commander in Panzer reconnaissance department 12.

Trousers are the very same he wore at wars end and after being released he wore them home where he then hung them up never to be seen again until they came into our possession!

Condition is very good indeed and would be good in any collection!

Sadly these have had to be sold separately as the person who purchased the wrap was not interested to keep the items together.

Here is a nice original combat worn Heer black wrap for a Aufklarungs Leutnant in Panzergrenadier-Division Großdeutschland.

The wrap is a factory produced & standard issue pattern mid war wrap built of the coarse quality black wool, the wrap has rayon lining, internal pocket bags, tie tunnels, buttoning tabs and belt hook support straps of grey coloured web material, The cuff linings are of black poplin, the waist ties are black tape with HBT weave and finished ends, The lining is the typical rayon type, the ink size and depot marking are washed out but conforms to a mid war production, There are four large black composite closure buttons which mean the wrap is full length and not shortened. There are smaller lapel composite buttons which are all present and look to have their original stitching, the same type of small buttons are used at the cuff. The collar has a black painted hook and eye closure at the throat, the Panzeraufklarungs collar patches look to have been installed by machine sewing at the time of manufacture, collar tabs are piped in golden yellow rayon, while showing evident wear there is no damage to them, each of the Totenkopf are the 2 prong type and show wear matching the condition of the tabs and wrap, the national emblem has been stripped at some point which is very common on panzer wraps, this could easily be replaced but we will leave that to any future owner to do if they so wish, the shoulder strap bridles are removed and Leutnant boards sewn in place, each board has golden yellow coloured wool underlay. Each shoulder board features a gilt GD cypher sewn in place, the original cuff title is a type 4 which appears to be period machine sewn to the sleeve, There are several areas of mothing which is consistent with the rest of the wrap, there is wear to the front panel which would indicate at some point there would have been loops for at least three awards. This wrap shows even & matching wear throughout with scattered moth nips which are concentrated to the sleeves and the back, it is in our view a nice combat worn piece, other than that noted above there is no damage or repairs to wool or insignia.

Overall while the wrap is not a mint example it does display very well indeed and would be a nice investment in a very rare and original piece of combat used uniform from the Grossdeutchland division!

Superb Heer black Panzer wrap for a obergefreiter, constructed with the mid-war quality coarse black wool with lining of grey green polished cotton. There are two internal breast pockets, on the inside of the left pocket it is nice and clearly RBNr. stamped in prominent black ink, above the pocket are the depot size stamps also in black ink with a 92cm chest size and with a production date of 1943 and with the code “St” for Stettin which is today now Szczecin in Poland. The wrap has closure tabs, inner belt hook support straps and tie tape tunnels which are made of the same material as the lining, the inner waist closure ties are of a Black coloured tape with HBT weave, the wrap has been period tailored for the wearer and as such been shortened from 4 front button closure to 3 which was quite common practise amongst the panzertruppen, the 3 large front closure buttons are of a black composite material, the cuff, lapel and inner tab closure buttons are the same but smaller sized versions, the shoulder strap buttons are pebbled aluminium painted field grey, all buttons are present and originally stitched, the factory applied collar patches have pink rosa coloured waffenfarbe are neatly machine stitched with black thread to the collar. The silver aluminium Totenkopfen which are attributed to the maker Assmann which are affixed with 2 prongs each do not protrude through the collar. The subdued woven national emblem is beautifully period applied with the known “flip and stich” machine application, set up for wear with slip on shoulder straps and includes a matched pair of slip on shoulder straps made of issue black wool with black flat cotton tongue reinforcements feature the post 1940 synthetic piping. The left sleeve has a hand sewn Obergefreiter rank patch applied to it and the cuff ends are also finished with the same interior lining material. There is a Iron Cross award ribbon hand sewn in the correct position of the top button hole on the front panel, garment is completely free of any damage, alteration or repair, perhaps the best of this type we have seen for some time as the wrap features qualities like the original factory produced insignia and textbook application! Overall we deem this wrap a superb addition to any collection which will display very well indeed!

fantastic wrap in a super untouched condition!!!

Rare!!!

Fantastic wrap that is also part of a document and award grouping we have!

This superb and fully original wrap belonged to Oberfeldwebel Heinz Doweling of Panzer Regiment 8.

Also awarded the Afrika cuff title, He later returned to Germany as a Instructor at a panzer school.

Wrap has full provenance and came with all award documents and other items in our other listing.
