This is a original WW1 German Honour cross Medal for sale.
Mounted on its original full length of ribbon, this example is maker marked .43 R.V. PFORZHEIM to the reverse.
The medal itself is in good order with most of its original finish remaining & only minimal wear to the high points.
This was Germany’s first official service medal for soldiers of Imperial Germany who had taken part in the war, and where they had since died it was also awarded to their surviving next-of-kin.
